Giving Tuesday

Huntley Brown Foundation News
DONATE HERE
Dear Friends and Supporters,On this Giving Tuesday, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your outpouring of generosity in response to Hurricane Melissa. Your compassion has already made a meaningful difference in the lives of families who lost so much, and your continued partnership remains essential as recovery continues.

Your Support Is Already Changing Lives
Because of donors like you, immediate relief efforts were deployed within days. Here’s what your gifts have helped make possible:
● Emergency Food Distribution: Families in Orange Hill, Turner, Tanzie Corner, Goshen, Benin, Browns Town and Retreat (St Ann Jamaica) received essential food packages containing rice, beans, canned meats, and bottled water— a lifeline during a time when markets remain closed and access to meals is uncertain.
● Transportation & On-the-Ground Logistics: Local volunteers and relief teams navigated damaged roads to deliver supplies quickly and safely.
● Collaborative Relief Efforts: Working closely with community partners led by local counselor Kim Brown Lawrence and Samaritan’s Purse
● Provided Starlink internet service for Browns Town Baptist Church and the broader Browns Town Community.
● Huntley Brown assisted in distributing over 200 emergency roof coverings, solar supplies, and hygiene kits donated by Samaritans Purse to families who had received no previous aid.

The photos and videos sent from the community reflect deep gratitude and a clear message: your support matters. These early interventions provided stability for vulnerable households, but the path ahead remains long.
The Need Is Still UrgentEven with the progress made, families continue to face overwhelming challenges. Your continued support is vital as we work to:
● Address ongoing food shortages caused by disrupted supply chains.
● Provide hygiene kits, baby formula, diapers, and first aid supplies for daily survival.
● Assist families with roof repairs, safer temporary housing, bedding, and essential home items.
● Support rebuilding efforts for local churches that serve as critical hubs for community recovery and distribution of aid.
In the weeks ahead, our focus will remain on meeting day-to-day necessities while also funding essential structural repairs that strengthen safety and restore dignity for affected families.

Thank You for Making Hope Possible
Your prayers, generosity, and compassion are making a real and immediate difference. Because of you, families are receiving food, shelter, and hope during their most difficult moments.
As you consider your Giving Tuesday contributions, we ask that you continue partnering with us to bring relief, restoration, and renewed strength to the communities impacted by Hurricane Melissa.
Thank you for standing with us.Together, we are rebuilding lives one family at a time.
With gratitude,The Huntley Brown Foundation
